Preparation of flish sediments and their application in brick products manufacturing
Apstrakt
Flish sediments represent atypical raw materials: marls, marly shales and shales. This paper presents the results of laboratory tests of shales. The paper points out the similarities and differences in technological characteristics between the raw materials of the same type, but from different deposits. Experimental work includes chemical, mineralogical and grain size analysis of the raw materials, as well as other relevant ceramic characterizations. The paper also presents a new method of preparing atypical raw materials.
