AB  - According to the new regulations of the European Community (Directive 97/23/EC, design and manufacture of the pressure
vessels (PV) shall be in accordance with legal and technical regulations stating the application of harmonized standards to be optional for a
manufacturer of the equipment. Increased responsibility of the manufacturers gives more freedom in selection of the methods, design,
calculation and optimization in order to provide safety. In this paper, using a liquid CO2-containing vessel as an example, a survey of the
process of optimization of a supporting structure has been presented. For parametric design, construction and calculation the SolidWorks
programme has been used, taking into consideration the regulations and standards in effect, and in accordance with new and general
approach to pressure equipment (Pressure Equipment Directive – PED) relating to structural integrity, i.e. fundamental requirements in
terms of safety, calculation, design and testing of strength.

AB  - Welded joint is a critical region of a welded structure. The operational safety of welded pressure equipment mostly depends on the behaviour of loaded weldments. Safety of welded structure is dependent on the properties of welded joint as whole and of its constituents (parent metal, heat affected zone and weld metal). In this paper the behaviour of welded joint cracked constituents is considered. Structural integrity assessment procedure is applied to welded pressure vessel produced of high-strength low-alloyed steel, operating at -40 degrees C, comparing crack driving force and material crack resistance, using path-independent contour J-integral as fracture mechanics parameter. The comparison of crack driving force, expressed by J-integral and material resistant curve, J-R curve, provide the possibility to determine the extent of the stable crack as well as the critical crack size for its final fast propagation and also to assess the structural integrity of a cracked pressure vessel.

AB  - Već dugi niz godina se čelik 13CrMo4-5 (~Č7400) primenjuje za izradu delova termoenergetskih postrojenja kao što su elementi kotlova i cevi. Ovaj čelik pripada grupi uslovno zavarljivih čelika, koji mogu uspešno da se zavaruju uz primenu posebnih mera, kao što su predgrevanje, termička obrada nakon zavarivanja i drugih mera predostrožnosti, a obično se koristi dodatni materijal sličnog hemijskog sastava. Obzirom na specifičnost primene, pri reparaturnom zavarivanju posebno interventnom zavarivanju, potrebno je voditi računa o parametrima procesa zavarivanja i izboru dodatnih materijala. U radu je izvedena proračunska analiza i predviđanje optimalnih parametara reparaturnog zavarivanja sa ciljem dobijanja kvalitetnog zavarenog spoja sa zahtevanim mehaničkim osobinama bez naknadne termičke obrade. Pored toga izvršen je kontrolni proračun čvrstoće metala šava za dodatni materijal sličnog hemijskog sastava, a na osnovu predloženih parametara zavarivanja.
AB  - Over the years 13CrMo4-5 (~Č 7400) steel is applied for production of the parts as pressure vessels and pipes in the thermo energetic plants. Steel 13CrMo4-5 is conditionally weldable and it could be successfully welded and weld repaired with the special care and if preheating and post weld heat treating (PWHT) procedure are applied. It is usually welded with similar filler material. In consideration to specific application of the 13CrMo4-5 steel, in the case of breakdown and emergency repair welding, special care have to be taken to defining welding process parameters and selection of the filler materials. In this investigation a results of the calculations and estimations for the repair welding parameters is based on the analytical equations. Analysis is performed to obtaining optimal parameters for sound welded joint with optimal quality and mechanical properties without PWHT of the joint. Also, calculations of the weld metal strength are performed on the base of previously defined welding parameters for the filler metal similar to base metal.

AB  - Izbor čelika, dimenzija i načina proizvodnje zavarenih cevi je deo procesa konstruisanja, jer je u uskoj vezi sa funkcijom cevi kao konstrukcijske celine u određenim uslovima eksploatacije za predviđeni vek trajanja. Kvalitet zavarenih spojeva u procesu proizvodnje cevi definiše se karakteristikama koje one moraju posedovati da bi zadovoljile određene zahteve, što se postiže izborom odgovarajućih postupaka i parametara zavarivanja, sprovođenjem programa kontrole svih tehnoloških operacija u njihovoj izradi i mehaničkim i tehnološkim ispitivanjima otpornosti i deformacije osnovnog materijala i zavarenih spojeva cevi. U radu su prikazani rezultati ispitivanja mehaničkih osobina spiralno zavarenih cevi, za dva proizvodna procesa sa različitim parametrima zavarivanja. Cevi namenjene za naftovode i gasovode su izrađene zavarivanjem pod praškom (EPP) od čelika povećane čvrstoće API X60.
AB  - The selection of steel, the dimensions and methods of seam welded steel tubes fabrication are closely connected to the function of tube as a whole structure in specific working conditions, for a calculated service life. The quality of welded joints in the fabrication process of seam welded tubes is defined by properties the tubes must possess in order to satisfy defined requirements, and can be achieved by choosing appropriate procedures and welding parameters, by following control programmes in all fabricating operations, and through mechanical and technology stress and strain tests of base metal and seam welded joints. The paper presents the results of the mechanical properties of spiral welded pipes, the two production processes with different welding parameters. Tubes designed for oil and gas pipelines are made by welding the powder (EPP) steel increased strength of API X60.

AB  - Čelik 13CrMo 4-5 (~Č7400) već dugi niz godina se primenjuje za izradu delova termoenergetskih postrojenja kao što su elementi kotlova i cevi. On spada u grupu niskolegiranih konstrukcionih čelika za rad na povišenim temperaturama do 600°C. Čelik 13CrMo 4-5 pripada grupi uslovno zavarljivih čelika, koji mogu uspešno da se zavaruju uz primenu posebnih mera, kao što su predgrevanje, termička obrada nakon zavarivanja i drugih mera predostrožnosti, a zavaruje se sa dodatnim materijalima sličnog hemijskog sastava. U ovom radu je izvršena procena zavarljivosti osnovnog materijala na osnovu analitičkih jednačina i izvršena su ispitivanja na osnovu tehnoloških proba osetljivosti na pojavu prslina (Y i CTS). Kao dodatni materijali u ispitivanjima su korišćene elektrode sličnog hemijskog sastava (Castolin 71D) i austenitne elektrode na bazi nikla (Castolin 2222 Xuper Nucleo Tec). Dobijeni preliminarni rezultati ukazuju, da u slučajevima interventnih popravki zavarivanjem bez dodatne termičke obrade, ne treba koristiti klasične dodatne materijale, zbog mogućnosti pojave prslina u zavarenom spoju, osim u slučaju primene tehnologije sa kontrolisanim unosom toplote, kao i da bi se za interventna zavarivanja mogle koristiti elektrode na bazi nikla, u ovom slučaju Castolin 2222 Xuper Nucleo Tec.
AB  - Over the years steel 13CrMo 4-5 (~Č7400) is applied for production of the parts as pressure vessels and pipes in thermo energetic plants. This steel is from the group of the low alloyed constructional steels for application on elevated temperatures up to 600°C. Steel 13CrMo 4-5 is conditionally weldable steel and could be successfully welded with the special care and application of preheating, post weld heat treating and other precautionary measures. It is usually welded with similar filler material. In consideration to specific application, at repair welding special care have to be taken in defining weld process parameters and selection of filler materials. In this investigations a estimation of the weldability of the steel 13CrMo 4-5 is performed on the base of the analytical equations and technological tests for the crack sensitivities (Y and CTS tests). As filler material a electrodes with similar chemical composition (Castolin 71D) and austenite nickel based alloy (Castolin 2222 Xuper Nucleo Tec) were used. Preliminary results has shown that in case of the emergency repair welding with similar filler material without PWHT, a cracks could be formed in welded joint and application of the controlled deposition method have to be applied. Also, a filler material based on nickel as Castolin 2222 Xuper Nucleo Tec, could be applied.

AB  - Radni vek čeličnih užadi je ograničen zbog promene njihovih svojstava tokom eksploatacije pod dejstvom radnih uslova i opterećenja. Redovan nadzor tokom eksploatacije omogućava kontrolu razvoja oštećenja i normalni proces starenja užadi. Na taj način se obezbeđuje blagovremena zamena užadi i bezbedna eksploatacija. U članku su prikazani i analizirani osnovni oblici oštećenja čeličnih užadi: mehaničko habanje, zamor, korozija, otkaz izazvan preopterećenjem i smicajni lom. Prikupljeni podaci mogu doprineti boljoj konstrukciji dizalice i užeta i poboljšanju postupka održavanja.
AB  - Service life of steel wire ropes is limited due to change of their properties during exploitation under working condition and loading. Regular inspection during service enables damage development examinational and regular rope ageing process. In this way the timely replacement of ropes and safe service can be assured. The basic types of steel ropes damage (mechanical wear fatigue, corrosion, failure due to overloading and shearing collapse) are presented in the article and analyzed. Collecting data can be contribute to better design of lifting equipment and ropes and to improved maintenance procedure.

AB  - U ovom radu su prikazane metode za određivanje dinamičke žilavosti loma, KId Metode dinamičkog J integrala, i ekvivalenta energije su eksperimentalno potvrđene ispitivanjem čelika Č 5432 i Č 4734. Ovaj rad predstavlja doprinos u ovladavanju metodama koje definišu ponašanje materijala u dinamičkim uslovima rasta prsline. Primena ovih metoda zajedno sa ostalim metodama za određivanje parametara mehanike loma predstavlja značajan doprinos istraživanju ponašanja konstrukcijskih materijala u prisustvu prsline.
AB  - In this paper the investigation of methods for determination of dynamic fracture toughness, KId. Dynamic J-integral and equivalence energy methods are experimental confirm testing of steel Č 5432 and Č 4734. This paper presented of contribution in control methods what's to define behavior of materials in condition of dynamic crack growth. Application this all methods presented very imported contribution of investigation behavior construction materials in presence of crack.

AB  - Analiziran je uticaj sadržaja Mg u matrici i zapreminskog udela SiC čestica u metal matričnom kompozitu (MMC) na udarnu žilavost. Livena AlMg legura, sa 3%, 5% i 7% sadržaja Mg korišćena je kao metal matrice. Primenjen je sadržaj ojačavaća od 2%, 5% i 10%, sa prosečnom veličinom čestica od 30 µm. Kompozit je dobijen metodom vrtložnog livenja. Energija udara metal matričnog kompozita sa AlMg matricom smanjuje se sa porastom sadržaja SiC i smanjenjem sadržaja Mg. Najveća ukupna energija je nađena u MMC AlMg7 sa 2% SiC (14,7-17,5 J), a najmanja u MMC AlMg3 sa 10% SiC (3,7-4,1 J). Vrednosti za metal matrični kompozit su manje od vrednosti za odgovarajuću leguru za 40 do 50%.
AB  - The effect of Mg content in matrix and volume entail of SiC particles in metal matrix composite (MMC) on impact toughness is analyzed. Cast AlMg alloy, with 3%, 5% and 7% Mg content is used as metal matrix. Reinforcement content of 2%, 5% and 10%, with an average particle size of 30 µm, had been applied. Composite is obtained by whirlpool casting method. The impact energy of metal matrix composite with AlMg matrix decreases with increasing SiC content and with decreasing Mg content. The highest total energy is found in MMC AlMg7 with 2% SiC (14.7-17.5 J), and the lowest one in MMC AlMg3 with 10% SiC (3.7-4.1 J). The values for metal matrix composite are bellow that of corresponding alloy for 40 to 50% .

AB  - Uticaj orijentacije ugljeničnih vlakana u kompozitu sa epoksi matricom na udarnu žilavost i na žilavost loma je eksperimentalno analiziran ispitivanjem Šarpi epruveta sa V zarezom i zarezanih epruveta modifikovanog CT oblika (sa oštrim vrhom zareza koji zamenjuje zamornu prslinu). Epruvete su proizvedene od uzoraka sa orijentacijom vlakana [±45]16s, [0/90]16s, kao i sa kombinovanim sastavom [02/90/±45/90/02]4s. Epruvete sa V zarezom su ispitivane na instrumentiranoj Šarpi mašini, čime je omogućeno razdvajanje energija nastanka i rasta prsline. Faktor intenziteta napona Kc je izabran kao parametar loma. Ukupne vrednosti udarne žilavosti su pokazale da [0/90]16s, kao što je očekivano, daje najveću otpornost na udar, ali su i vrednosti za [02/90/±45/90/02]4s bile zadovoljavajuće, sa pogodnim odnosom energije širenja i energije rasta prsline. Ispitivanje modifikovane CT epruvete je dalo slične i zadovoljavajuće rezultate za faktor intenziteta napona za dva uzorka ([0/90]16s i [02/90/±45/90/02]4s), dok je za treći [±45]16s, ova vrednost niža za oko 20%. Imajući na umu druge prednosti orijentacije [02/90/±45/90/02]4s, ona se može preporučiti kao najbolja uprkos nešto nižoj udarnoj energiji.
AB  - The effect of carbon fibers orientation in a composite with epoxy matrix on the impact and fracture toughness is experimentally analyzed by testing of Charpy type V notched specimens and notched specimens of modified CT form (with sharp notch tip as replacement for fatigue pre-crack). Specimens were produced from samples with carbon fiber orientation [±45]16s, [0/90]16s, and also with combined composition [02/90-/±45/90/-02]4s. Specimens with V notch have been tested on instrumented Charpy machine, enabling to separate crack initiation and propagation energies. Stress intensity factor Kc had been selected as fracture parameter. Total impact toughness values have shown that highest impact resistance belongs to [0/90]16s, as expected, but the values for [02/90/±45/90/02]4s are also satisfactory, with convenient ratio of crack propagation to crack initiation energies. Modified CT specimen testing have shown close and satisfactory results for stress intensity factor of two samples ([0/90]16s and [02/90/±45/90/02]4s), and for third sample [±45]16s this value is about 20% lower. Having in mind other benefits with [02/90/±45/90/0-2]4s, it can be recommended as superior in spite of somewhat lower impact energy.
