AB  - The steam pipe line and steam line material, along with its welded joints, subject to damage that accumulates during operation in coal power plants. As a result of thermal fatigue, dilatation of steam pipe line at an operating temperature may lead to cracks initiation at the critical zones within heat affected zone of steam pipe line welded joints. By registration of thermal cycle during welding and subsequent heat affected zone simulation is possible to obtain target microstructure. For the simulation is chosen heat resisting steel, 12H1MF (designation 13CrMo44 according to DIN standard). From the viewpoint of mechanical properties, special attention is on impact toughness mostly because very small number of available references. After simulation of single run and multi run welding test on instrumented Charpy pendulum. Metallographic and fractographic analysis is also performed, on simulated 12H1MF steel from service and new, unused steel. The results and correlation between microstructure and impact toughness is discussed, too.

Analiza loma spojnice lanca

AB  - Uprkos brojnim i skupim istraživanjima u oblasti zamora i loma kao i redovne kontrole gotovog proizvoda, prsline se javljaju svakodnevno u mnogim oblastima. Ovaj rad opisuje analizu otkaza spojnice lanca korišćene u konvejeru za transport cementa. Lančasti elevatori sa kašikom koriste spojnice za spajanje segmenata lanca i za vezivanje kašike za transport rasutog tereta. Površina kontakta između karike lanca i spojnice predstavlja jedno od najopterećenijih mesta na celom elevatoru. Tokom redovnog održavanja na upotrebljenim i novim spojnicama lanaca uočene su prsline u otvrdnutim termički obrađenim zonama. Radi povećanja otpornosti spojnica na habanje one se u oblasti kontakta sa karikom lanca termički obrađuju. Pojava prslina u novim nekorišćenim spojnicama pokrenula je ispitivanja sa ciljem da se utvrdi poreklo prslina na novim spojnicama. Pored ispitivanja uzroka nastanka ovih prslina u radu su navedeni predlozi mera za sprečavanje njihovog nastanka.
AB  - In spite of numerous and expensive research in the field of fatigue and fracture and regular control of end products, cracks occur every day in all fields of human activity. This paper describes failure analysis of chain brackets, used in conveyor systems for cement production. Chain type bucket elevators utilize chain brackets for joining segments of chain as well as for attaching brackets for bulk material transport. The contact zone between chain link and bracket is one of the most stressed in this elevator system. During regular maintenance, cracks are found on used and new brackets in the case hardened zone. Case hardening of the chain bracket is performed due to requirements for increased wear resistance of the chain link contact. The occurrence of cracks in new brackets raised the question regarding the origin of cracks and it is the main subject of this paper. This paper also suggests a solution for avoidance of cracks on chain brackets.

AB  - Vrlo visoka čvrstoća omogućava žičanom užetu da prenese velike zatezne sile i da se kreće po koturima relativno malog prečnika. Žice od čelika vrlo visoke čvrstoće su postojale više od sto godina pre nego što su patentirane, kada je uveden specijalni postupak zagrevanja i usavršen postupak izvlačenja. Dalja poboljšanja posle toga su uvedena u relativno malim koracima. Žičana užad uvek imaju ograničen radni vek. Zbog toga ona moraju da se podvrgnu inspekciji i ispitaju u pravilnim intervalima da bi se zamenila znatno pre otkaza. Krajnji korisnik mašine sa čeličnim žičanim užetom u svakom slučaju želi da ima grubu ocenu radnog veka užeta već u ranoj fazi razvoja mašine. tako da bude u mogućnosti, ako zatreba, da poboljša sistem mašine. To je jedan od razloga zbog kojih su tokom niza godina izvedena obimna istraživanja kako bi se poboljšali postupci proračuna za predviđanje radnog veka žičanih užadi. Namena ovog rada je da ponudi pregled informacija o postupcima proračuna i da prikaže mogućnosti i ograničenja postupaka prognoziranja za predviđanja radnog veka čeličnih žičanih užadi u eksploataciji.
AB  - Very high strength enables wire ropes to support large tensile forces and to run over sheaves with relative small diameters. Very high strength steel wires had already been in existence for more than a hundred years when patenting, a special heating process was introduced and the drawing process improved. Since then, further improvements have only occurred in relatively small steps. Wire ropes always have a limited service life. Therefore they must be inspected and examined at regular intervals so that they are replaced well before failure. End-users of machinery with steel wire ropes, however, would like to have a rough estimation of the service life of the ropes already in the early stages of conceiving their machines, so that they can, if necessary, improve the revving system. This is one of the reasons why for many years extensive research is carried out in order to improve calculations for predicting the service life of wire ropes. This paper is meant to offer an overview information on the method of calculation and to demonstrate the potential and limitations of the forecasting procedure for service-life prediction of running steel wire ropes.

AB  - Već dugi niz godina se čelik 13CrMo4-5 (~Č7400) primenjuje za izradu delova termoenergetskih postrojenja kao što su elementi kotlova i cevi. Ovaj čelik pripada grupi uslovno zavarljivih čelika, koji mogu uspešno da se zavaruju uz primenu posebnih mera, kao što su predgrevanje, termička obrada nakon zavarivanja i drugih mera predostrožnosti, a obično se koristi dodatni materijal sličnog hemijskog sastava. Obzirom na specifičnost primene, pri reparaturnom zavarivanju posebno interventnom zavarivanju, potrebno je voditi računa o parametrima procesa zavarivanja i izboru dodatnih materijala. U radu je izvedena proračunska analiza i predviđanje optimalnih parametara reparaturnog zavarivanja sa ciljem dobijanja kvalitetnog zavarenog spoja sa zahtevanim mehaničkim osobinama bez naknadne termičke obrade. Pored toga izvršen je kontrolni proračun čvrstoće metala šava za dodatni materijal sličnog hemijskog sastava, a na osnovu predloženih parametara zavarivanja.
AB  - Over the years 13CrMo4-5 (~Č 7400) steel is applied for production of the parts as pressure vessels and pipes in the thermo energetic plants. Steel 13CrMo4-5 is conditionally weldable and it could be successfully welded and weld repaired with the special care and if preheating and post weld heat treating (PWHT) procedure are applied. It is usually welded with similar filler material. In consideration to specific application of the 13CrMo4-5 steel, in the case of breakdown and emergency repair welding, special care have to be taken to defining welding process parameters and selection of the filler materials. In this investigation a results of the calculations and estimations for the repair welding parameters is based on the analytical equations. Analysis is performed to obtaining optimal parameters for sound welded joint with optimal quality and mechanical properties without PWHT of the joint. Also, calculations of the weld metal strength are performed on the base of previously defined welding parameters for the filler metal similar to base metal.

AB  - Čelik 13CrMo 4-5 (~Č7400) već dugi niz godina se primenjuje za izradu delova termoenergetskih postrojenja kao što su elementi kotlova i cevi. On spada u grupu niskolegiranih konstrukcionih čelika za rad na povišenim temperaturama do 600°C. Čelik 13CrMo 4-5 pripada grupi uslovno zavarljivih čelika, koji mogu uspešno da se zavaruju uz primenu posebnih mera, kao što su predgrevanje, termička obrada nakon zavarivanja i drugih mera predostrožnosti, a zavaruje se sa dodatnim materijalima sličnog hemijskog sastava. U ovom radu je izvršena procena zavarljivosti osnovnog materijala na osnovu analitičkih jednačina i izvršena su ispitivanja na osnovu tehnoloških proba osetljivosti na pojavu prslina (Y i CTS). Kao dodatni materijali u ispitivanjima su korišćene elektrode sličnog hemijskog sastava (Castolin 71D) i austenitne elektrode na bazi nikla (Castolin 2222 Xuper Nucleo Tec). Dobijeni preliminarni rezultati ukazuju, da u slučajevima interventnih popravki zavarivanjem bez dodatne termičke obrade, ne treba koristiti klasične dodatne materijale, zbog mogućnosti pojave prslina u zavarenom spoju, osim u slučaju primene tehnologije sa kontrolisanim unosom toplote, kao i da bi se za interventna zavarivanja mogle koristiti elektrode na bazi nikla, u ovom slučaju Castolin 2222 Xuper Nucleo Tec.
AB  - Over the years steel 13CrMo 4-5 (~Č7400) is applied for production of the parts as pressure vessels and pipes in thermo energetic plants. This steel is from the group of the low alloyed constructional steels for application on elevated temperatures up to 600°C. Steel 13CrMo 4-5 is conditionally weldable steel and could be successfully welded with the special care and application of preheating, post weld heat treating and other precautionary measures. It is usually welded with similar filler material. In consideration to specific application, at repair welding special care have to be taken in defining weld process parameters and selection of filler materials. In this investigations a estimation of the weldability of the steel 13CrMo 4-5 is performed on the base of the analytical equations and technological tests for the crack sensitivities (Y and CTS tests). As filler material a electrodes with similar chemical composition (Castolin 71D) and austenite nickel based alloy (Castolin 2222 Xuper Nucleo Tec) were used. Preliminary results has shown that in case of the emergency repair welding with similar filler material without PWHT, a cracks could be formed in welded joint and application of the controlled deposition method have to be applied. Also, a filler material based on nickel as Castolin 2222 Xuper Nucleo Tec, could be applied.

AB  - Prevremeni otkaz kotlovskih postrojenja može biti izazvan istovremenim uticajem većeg broja tehnološko-metalurških, konstrukcijskih i eksploatacijskih faktora. Zato se povoljna konstrukcijska rešenja, koja obezbeđuju sigurnost i integritet u uslovima eksploatacije, mogu ostvariti samo pravilnim izborom materijala i potpunim poznavanjem ponašanja osnovnog materijala i zavarenih spojeva u različitim radnim uslovima. U radu je prikazan metodološki pristup za analizi stanja cevnog sistema kotla, na primeru vrelovodnog kotla VKL- 50 (kapacitet proizvodnje pare 50 m3/h). Opisane su primenjene metode ispitivanja svojstava osnovnog materijala i zavarenih spojeva i izloženi su rezultati ispitivanja. Prikazani pristup je omogućio ocenu integriteta kotla u različitim režimima rada.
AB  - A premature failure of boilers can be caused by simultaneous effects of a number of technological and metallurgical, design and service factors. Hence, satisfying design solution, which would ensure security and integrity in service states, can be achieved only by a proper choice of materials and a complete knowledge of the behavior of parent material and welded joints in various operating conditions. In the paper, the methodological approach has been presented for the state analysis of the boiler pipe system in the case of a hot-water boiler VKL-50 (steam production capacity 50 m3/h). The applied methods for testing the parent metal and welded joints and the test results are presented. The described approach enabled to assess the integrity of boiler in different operation regime.
