In present paper, methodological approach to the analysis of the failures and recovery of the damages has been presented on an example of fracture and damage of a structure of the reloading bridge. The approach presented can be applied to various types of similar structures, and its application in preventive maintenance would contribute to extension of exploitation life of the reloading bridges.
